Creag House B&B is located in Colbost on the North West of the Isle of Skye, 5 miles from Dunvegan.
The Isle of Skye is a beautiful, dramatic and romantic island. The largest of the Inner Hebrides, situated off the North-West coast of the Scottish Highlands, it is also the only island with a bridge connecting it to the mainland. You can still take the ferry if you wish, from Glenelg or Mallaig.
Once here, there is a multitude of things to do, with activities to suit all ages and preferences. Skye boasts epic scenery for walking, climbing or photography, numerous sea lochs for kayaking, fishing, or spotting whales, dolphins, and seals, world-class food and drink, and a rich cultural heritage spanning thousands of years. So whether it’s an action-packed adventure you’re after, or simply relaxing in splendid isolation, there is something for everyone.
Skye is a stunning island and the scenery is breathtaking whatever season you choose to visit. Colbost is a small community found in the Northwest of Skye and is a particularly beautiful part of the Island. Creag House is nestled into the hillside and overlooks Loch Dunvegan, a sea loch. The views from the windows are simply amazing. Creag House is a wonderful place to come back to after a day of exploring, to put your feet up and soak up the view. We are ideally situated for some of Skye’s most breathtaking places to explore. Neist point, Coral Beach and Dunvegan Castle & Gardens are all nearby; the castle and beach can be seen from the house. We are a drive away from the Cuillin Mountains, the Quiraing, Fairy Glen, the Fairy Pools and Portree. We are only a five-minute walk away from the world-famous Three Chimneys Restaurant and a leisurely stroll away from seals, dolphins, sea otters and a vast array of seabirds.
